2018 Girls "Crushed It" at the Nike Elite 120

Updated Monday January 18, 2016 by Orange Crush.

The Nike Elite 120 is an invitation only event designed for players looking to be the best in their class and compete at the highest level.  The best college coaches in the country will be in attendance as evaluators.

The Elite 120 is a highly unique event.  All athletes will be tested in an NFL-style speed and agility testing session run by the nationally renowned PARISI SPEED SCHOOL. Testing disciplines: 40 yard dash, 5-10-5 shuttle, 300 yard shuttle (50 yard increments).  All scores will be made available immediately following the speed and agility training.

Here is what the coaches had to say about the 2018 Orange Crush Girls:

2018 - Saturday's Highlighted Performers:

Blue Jays and Coach Kellen Millard: Emma Parry (Orange Crush/West Genesee) has added great size and speed on that defensive end.  She had several nice transitions.

Irish and Coach Kait Gentry: Eliza MacCaull (Orange Crush/West Genesee) has earned Coach Gentry’s praises.  She is a quick, little lefty who has a couple of nice finishes–a very heady player who sees the field well.

2018 - Sunday's Highlighted Performers:

Quakers and Coach MC Rossing: Quakers pulled out a tough 9-8 win first thing this morning.  Chloe Willard (Orange Crush/Cazenovia) was relentless on the offensive end.  A big attacker, she used her body well to clear her hands and some real nice high to low finishes.

Hawks and Coach Mike Farrell: The Nike Elite 120 has seen an influx of upstate performers this year and Alison Durkin (Orange Crush/Jamesville-DeWitt) is another top performer.  Quick and athletic, we found ourselves wishing she would demand the ball a little more!

Lions and Coach Kathy Black: Another leader on that defense was Samantha VanBuren (Orange Crush/Westhill).  Upstate has shown well here at the 120.  College coaches are going to like her “blue collar” mentality.
